CURRENTLY OFFERED - REPAIR 101

This class is primarily geared at those who have never learned to sew, but want to be able to extend the life of the clothes in their closet. We’ll focus on basic techniques and do a few test pieces, and by the end of this class, you’ll be confident in your skills to do some small fixes! Class will run 1.5 hours with time for chat & questions at the beginning and end. All participants will receive a mini repair kit to take home with them!

We will focus on:

  • How to thread a needle

  • How to sew a shirt button

  • How to sew a coat button (with heavier gauge thread)

  • How to do a hemming stitch

  • How to do a patch stitch

  • Got an item that needs a small repair? Bring it with you!
